THE WAR ON TERRORISM

  • Mood: Amused
Listening to our President yesterday I was struck by how many questions he talked around. It seems every time he did'nt want to answer he would bring twist it around so it seemed like he was,but it was all "double-speak" as George Orwell would have put it. The guy spoke forever and said nothing of any import.I cant wait for him to be questioned by the 9/11 commission and hear what he says to them. The American peaple want answers and we want them now. But I guess thats to much to ask of a man with an IQ of under 100. (Yale?) yeah right George, how much did it cost Daddy to pay off the dean.

You are a braver person then I, I couldn't bring myself to even turn on the telly during his speech. I keep thingking about the joke "How do you tell a politician is lying? His lips are moving!"

As for him not answering the questions, well, Chaney and company wrote the speech for him and it turns out that all the questions from the reporters had to be submitted in writing ahead of time, so they could pick and choose what he would answer.
